Here's some various ideas I've had for the Impala SS over the years.

Rims and Tire Ideas

19x12 Rear and 19x8 Front Wheels with 345/30/19 Rear and 255/40/19 Front tires. Approximately $3600 for wheels and $1400 for tires for a $6200 total cost.

18x13 Rear and 18x9.5 Front wheels with 345/35/18 Rear and 295/35/18 Front Tires. Approximately $2500 for wheels and $1250 for ties for a $4950 total cost.

17x13 Rear and 17x9.5 Front Wheels with 335/35/17 Rear and 275/40/17 Front Tires. Approximately $1600 for wheels and $1000 for tires for $3800 total cost.

All 3 of these wheel/tire combo's would require the modification of the rear frame which can be done for $1200 by a shop in the Phoenix area and has been added to the total cost of each combo.

4 Door Corvette idea

Another idea is to use Corvette ZR-1 17x9.5 front and 17x11 rear wheels with 275/40/17 and 315/35/17 tires, this would only require adapters to achieve this. $1200 for wheels and $900 for tires plus adapters for $300 is a $2700 complete package. The coolest thing is the wheels have a Chevy Corvette emblem which would match well with a Corvette dress kit. Change the license plate to 4DRCRVT and you've got a nice package.

How about a set of C5 exhaust pipes and smooth rear bumper? I checked for clearance and they will definitely fit with a notch to the rear frame to allow the pipes to come through. This would also require cutting of the rear bumper mask and support structure underneath. By using the ICS rear smooth bumper found here and doing a little fiberglass work the opening could be made to look just like the C5 Corvette exhaust opening.

How about the Corvette wheels and tires on the car? I think it looks pretty sweet.
