This intake is simply a K&N cone filter (KN-RE-0920) and a K&N small filter (07-62-1030) attached through a homemade piece of sheet metal with a 4" hole and a 1" hole cut in it. In the far right intake picture you can see the stock plastic pins used to attach this to the PCM bracket. It took about 2 hours in my driveway to cut, bend and paint flat black. To make the stand up portion conform to the hood line I used a piece of cardboard cut roughly to size and inserted large toothpicks into the holes between the ridges then shut the hood to measure the closing line. I then trimmed off 3/8 of an inch to make room for the molding black pinch molding. The pipe attaching the elbow to the PCM is 3" PVC from Home Depot with clamps bought there as well. the small turn was made by cutting down a 45 elbow until it turned the way I wanted to. I figure the PVC should definitely keep the heat soak to a minimum.
